   High strength fasteners should be quenched and tempered according to technical requirements. Heat treatment conditioning is to improve the comprehensive mechanical properties of fasteners to meet the product requirements of tensile strength value and yield ratio;  . The heat treatment process has a crucial influence on the internal quality of high strength fasteners, especially for its high quality fasteners. Advanced heat treatment equipment must be equipped to produce high quality fasteners. Because of the high strength bolt production volume, low price, and the more subtle threaded part relatively sophisticated structure, therefore, requirements of heat treatment equipment must have large production capacity, high degree of automation, good ability of heat treatment quality.

Since 1990s, the continuous heat treatment production line with protective atmosphere has taken the lead, and the shock bottom type and mesh belt furnace is especially suitable for the heat treatment and tempering of small and medium sized fasteners. In addition to the good sealing performance of the furnace, the quenching and tempering line also has advanced atmosphere, temperature and process parameters, computer control, equipment malfunction alarm and display function. High strength fasteners can be automatically controlled by feeding, cleaning, heating, quenching, cleaning, tempering, coloring to the assembly line, thus effectively ensuring the quality of heat treatment.

Due to the adhesion of the steel wire surface under certain conditions, decomposition of synthetic CO2 and H2O speed is very fast, if the continuous mesh belt furnace gas control improperly, it will lead to screw decarburization. In addition, the surface decarburization of steel wire has different surface and internal structure, and has different expansion coefficient, and it may cause surface crack when quenching.
